2018 One Day Fun Day Art Classes
Have you longed to paint an abstract, still life, or floral painting but were a bit unsure how to get started or how to develop a really unique look?

One Day Fun Day workshops are designed to be a fun, engaging, full day of painting based around learning to paint an acrylic abstract, a still life, a figurative abstract, or a floral painting!
You don't have to have experience to take this class!
If you have experience, this is a great class to reinforce the fundamentals and gain new insight into your options while painting in a working artist's studio!
You will learn how to:
Choose the best paintbrushes for your painting
Use acrylic mediums and paints to serve you
Prep a Canvas and Paper
Begin With a Sketch
Steps to build a strong painting base
Layer Using Mixed Media
Add Juicy Tidbits for Visual Interest
Create Strong Values and Contrast
Know When Your Painting Is Finished
Plan for options to seal and varnish your work
At the end of the class, you will take home a finished painting and a bucket of skills so that you will be better equipped to begin your next painting with confidence and a new approach to your practice!
All supplies and canvas are included in this class!
